500ml bottle, bb.22.12.09. Courtesy of Skinnyviking. Partly cloudy, amber-orange body. Slowly fading, off-white head. Malt-fruity aroma. Pretty much similar in the taste profile, dry malts at the heart supported by tart fruits. Fairly well bodied and slips down easily, otherwise a bit characterless. Time for Hammers ale? (hotel room, Copenhagen 14.05.2009).

bottle at home. this rate dedicated to football players all over the world, who entertain their fans so well. cloudy brown, small light brown head. the nose is tofee, caramel, very flowery hops, almost sour notes (but probably just hops or spices), alc can be faintly sensed in the aroma. flavor is quite hoppy (dry), and quite hoppy (bitter), based in caramel and toffee, alc level suits it well. personally i find it a bit too caramelly tofeee sweet, and the bitterness is almost a bit like bitter caramel. okay brew, strong - but not to my liking.

Bottled. A hazy red beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of grapefruit - Cascade hops? and notes of malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of caramel, medium notes of malt, and lighter notes of dusty and citrusy - Cascade like hops.

Never mind the evil red-shirted, pink-booted football team praised on the label, I’m rating the beer. Amber with a big off-white head. Grainy and husky malt aroma, with a hint of hops, and a touch of butter. Dryish, caramel malty flavour with a harsh husky finish.
