750ml bottle as Bøgedal nr. 177, 5% ABV, bought at Vinmonopolet Briskeby in Oslo and carried back home for Yuletide festivity. Mahogany body with a tiny fawn, coloured head. Aroma of anise and chocolate malts. Sweet black malts in flavour joined by liquorice acidity and a little spicy touch. Herbal bitter endnotes. Well balanced with a pleasant mouth feel (shared at a Romjuls party, Tromsø 27.12.2009).
