“Hugs feel great. But when you find yourself behind the wheel of a 4,000lb truck rumbling over the gravel, hugging each person you pass just isn’t in the cards. So you raise your finger off the wheel just enough to acknowledge your neighbor. The Farmer Wave is a completely legitimate and wholly appreciated acknowledgement. It really is the least you can do to recognize that fleeting moment that you share with another person. It is simple, but meaningful.” – Matt Dinges Farmer Wave is our ale brewed with oats, lime zest, lime juice, and salt in collaboration with our dear friend Matt Dinges of Good Life Provisions.

Just came back from my 2026 Vermont Easter trip, so might as well go through some bottles I have from previous years - at this brewery. Written 20240328 on the label. A slight haze, golden colour with a creamyish warm-white head, good retention and foamy lacing. Citrusy aromas of the Saison, with added limes to accentuate the sourness, zestiness. Especially in the flavours. Not overly puckering, but a sour note lingering more and more as you sip. A touch of tart left on the tongue. Quite a refreshing Saison, with the limes that shine.

Bottle, at the March 2025 DCBeer share. Poured a slightly hazy yellow-orange color with a medium sized white head. This was a really delicate saison, not too much funky aroma on the nose. Labor is pretty subtle with a little bit of sweetness, and some nice light funk. But not too funky.
