Bottle. It pours a golden-ish copper body under a small, off-white head. I find butterscotch and caramel in the aroma, as well as something not so good I can’t remember what is, and can’t understand from my notes. At least it’s not much dubbel-ish. Caramel, some sourness, grains and some bitterness in the mouth. Medium, slightly astringent mouthfeel. Now, this is probably the shittiest dubbel I’ve had. After five unsuccesful attempts, I still wanna try their beers at the brewpub, as the bottles seems to be off before they enter the stores. This one included. (090116)

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is acidic malty combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is acidic with notes of malt and caramel, as well as lighter notes of straw, leading to an acidic finish where notes of lemon shows up.
