Cask at Smithfield Hotel, Manchester. A hazy dark golden beer with no head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter notes of flowers and honey. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and floral hops as well as lighter notes of caramel, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

Cask (gravity) @ Smithfield Hotel, 37 Swan St, Manchester, Greater Manchester England M4 5JZ.Clear medium to dark amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, grass, orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090122]
