Brewed using specialist malts from Bamberg, Germany it has none of the astringent roasted flavours associated with most porters and is smooth and mellow but with a real complexity of flavour that contradicts its easy drinking strength.

Cask @ Grayston Unity, Halifax. Very dark with a thick off-white creamy head. Has a good nose, but lesser stated with its roasted malts in its taste than here. Crisp.
