Bottle@Crest Hotel, Prince Rupert, Canada. Dark golden beer with a light head. The aroma is malty with a marzipan element, and the flavour is fruity with spiced yeasty elements. Overall a reasonable but quite plain yeasty and malty beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Originally rated June 2005. Pours a real golden colour with a medium white head. What is impressive on this one, is the amount of lace left. Lots. The carbonation is very nice, small bubbles and active, but not too much. Aroma of bitterness and grain malt with a slight floral scent. Nice clean, crisp and mildly creamy mouthfeel. Very good taste... floral and fruity. Smooth finish. This is a great product from Sleeman. An awesome session brew for the B.B.Q.

Kind of a sweet initial taste and a tail that leaves not much but a touch of bitterness. Better than I thought it would be, honestly

Has a decent off-gold colour with okay head. Aroma of weak cardboard and malt, better than some lagers but still pretty darn bad. Flavour is a weak mix of malted cardboard, some nutty notes, all plastered over an average palate. Very boring and bland.
