Cask pour in The Druid Inn, Goginan, Wales. Not as red as the name might suggest, the body is amber and the head a white affair. Mixed bag of aromas and flavours, nothing standing out, just a decent blend with a light malty front and a floral hop underbelly.

Cask @ Victorian Craft Beer Café, Halifax. Light copper coloured with a small head. Stronger tasting than its alcohol content might suggest, and has a grainy light toffee aroma and taste.

Deep copper and amber coloured body with a thin tan head. Aroma of nice malt, a touch of nuts and a bit of toffee. Medium-bodied; Creamy, malty taste with some cardboard, chocolate and a light hop taste. Aftertaste clean and only showing a little malt, some alcohol, but mostly a dry finish. Overall, a nice Irish diversion, but not as good as Galway Hooker (which I also had at the restaurant). I sampled this pint on draught at Bull & Castle in Central Dublin, Republic of Ireland on 20-February-2009.
