Your palate is a temple So why assault it with big brand, bland lager? This easy to drink, Dublin beer was the original lager of Temple Bar. True to the style, Hallertau hops work wonders with malted Irish barley to create a genuine Irish lager that has – unexpectedly for some, perhaps – genuine flavour. Is Temple Lager the best lager in Dublin currently? Who knows? Probably!

tap - Pours golden with a lingering white head. It smells of grainy malt with a hint of fruit and hops. The flavor has light hops bitterness and sweet, rather grainy malt. It’s light bodied and fizzy. Not bad.

Has a quickly dissipating head, but a nice golden body to compensate. Slight lemony aroma. There is a little cherry taste so far as I could figure and a bunch of bread. Some hops. Citrus taste is extant as well. A lager that is definitely complex enough. Seems to me to be a bit under-rated on this website.

Draught at Porterhouse, Covent Garden. Pale gold. Thin white head. Some sickly lager malt aroma. Bit thin in mouth. Hops are ok though. Still the vomit malt continues to the end. Dull but mostly inoffensive
