Bottle from the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur city Centre. Poured a crystal clear yellow golden colour with a big lasting frothy white head and lots of champagne bubbles. The aroma is grainy, mineral, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a light, crisp, fresh, herbal, dry, earthy, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.

Poured from the tap. Clear blonde gold with small white head. Mild wheat, mild citrus, mild hops, average on every front. Not terrible.

[12oz bottle from Total Wines, Huntingdon Beach, CA.] A hazy amber pour with a fast fading white head; weak grainy aroma with a touch of orange; sweet grainy body, with more orange juice; and little in teh way of a finish. Drinkable, but forgetable.

355ml bottle. Pours a cloudy gold-yellow with a medium, foamy, short lived, ecru head that laces. Mild aroma of grainy wheat malt, yeast, orange peel and black pepper. Sweet flavour of bready wheat malt, lemon, yeast and floral hops in a crisp, dry finish. Light body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Refreshing and easy to drink, but a little weak.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 11/6/2017. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, orange, citrus zest, peach, pear, red apple, wheat, cracker, bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. A bit too fruity/yeasty aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice aromas with good complexity and solid balance of citrus/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and pale/wheat malt notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, orange, citrus zest, peach, pear, red apple, wheat, cracker, bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Mild herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, citrus zest, peach, pear, red apple, wheat, cracker, bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a delicious American pale wheat ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Perfectly balanced noble hops, fruity American wheat yeast, and pale/wheat malts. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive style example.

From old tasting notes. Cloudy honey gold color.foamy white head. Fragrant floral malt aroma. Dryish wheat malt flavor is soft and silky, but lacks complexity. Brief dry finish.
