The enjoyment of this elegant bock beer is an excellent alternative for everyone who does not only like to drink a good red wine. Softly sparkling in the first taste, accompanied by a massive creamy body with a clear fruit and sweet note.

Medium offwhite head. Golden body. Syrupy earthy spicy aroma with honey and straw notes. Dry-sweet earthy resiny honey taste with syrupy grassy notes. Mid-to-full body. Mild mouthfeel. Dryish alcoholic strawy earthy aftertaste with minty oily notes. Very nice interpretation of a bog-standard bock. (0.5l bottle, Kaufland, Leipzig.)

bottle, as Maibock, from Kaufland Dresden-Weißig. Golden colour, malty with nice herbal accents. Solid, but unexciting.

(bottle) Almost clear, golden colour with a big and off-white foamy head. Sweet and slightly bready malty aroma with notes of biscuits. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a smooth carbonation. A bit sugary and biscuity pale malty taste; sweetish malty and faint woody hoppy finish. A tad too sweet for my liking. 16.IX.09

Bottled. An amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of bread and caramel as well as lighter notes of fruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of metal and caramel, leading to a dry metallic finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy golden with a dense, off-white head. Sweetish malty nose. Medium body, very sweet malt notes - almost a little perfumy - and a whiff of sulphur. Finishes dry. 141208
