Birra Moretti La Rossa is a double malt beer produced using 100% high quality barley malt. This gives it a full, caramelised malt flavour and an intense aroma of roasted malt. Its distinctive amber colour originates from the type of malt used when brewing, a special malt which is dried and roasted.

On tap. Al naso l'aroma rimanda al caramello. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma e termina con merletti sul bordo del bicchiere. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il finale è pulito, semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di caramello, miele, cereali, frutta secca, spezie, pane tostato, un accenno di resinoso, erbaceo e agrumi.

Bottle at an Italian restaurant. Malty sweetness with a malty aroma, lots of caramel and toffee. Sweet with a rich and filling maltiness. Body is medium. Nice enough.

Nagy, de nem túl tartós hab, tükrös, vöröses árnyalatú sötétbarna szín. Karamelles, enyhén fűszeres illat. Karamelles, enyhén fűszeres ízek. Közepesen testes, közepesen szénsavas, enyhén keserű. Ékegyszerű barnasör.

Bottle from M mini market, gl.køge landevej/ib schønberg's alle. A small standard kiosk with about 50 international and craft beer in the fridge, ready to go. clear dark amber, smooth light brown head. bbf 09.2022 tasted 10.2022. aroma is deep malty, faint nutty-malty and with an old hops note to it. This makes sense as it is almost over bbf date. flavor is very malty but not overly sweet, notes resembling cedar wood, notes resembling port wine only neither sour or sweet, so perhaps more notes resembling beer lagered in port wine barrels. Flavor is quite complex, has many layers, and seem well orchestrated like an italien dessert. To truly enjoy this , you have to buy a library, lounge furniture and light up the fireplace.. it's that kind of beer...
