Bottle (old backlog, notes say thanks Papsoe!). Ambery brown colour with a mediumsized beige foamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is caramel, some dried fruits, mild spiciness with some chocolate and mild herbal tones. Flavour is caramel, dried fruits, some spiciness with some mild herbal, floral and grassy tones. Quite biting carbonation.

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and spices.

(Bottle at Timo A’s tasting, thanks) Deep reddisah brown. Medium sized and quickly disappearing white head. Berries, spices and malts in aroma. Medium bodied palate with medium carbonation. Spices, malts, sweetness, light roastedness, bitterness and fruitiness in taste. Malty and bitter aftertaste.

50 cl bottle. Hazy red brown/amber body with off-white head. Flavour is Fruity and malt.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pale brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy and slightly hoppy aroma. Fruity malty spicy flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty spicy finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Cloudy brown with a lasting off-white head. Fruity and spicy aroma with pine hops. Dry and fruity flavour with good malt and plenty hop bitterness to balance.

Bottle 50cl. @ home.Clear medium red brown amber color with a small to average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, damp-stained, perfume, spicy - nutmeg and cinnamon, soap notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is soft. [20081124]

Tasting at Papsoe
Brown color. Light cinnamon aroma, some hops. Medium sweet caramel flavor, light chocolate and quite evident cinnamon. You see it coming, below average Danish Christmas beer.

Bottle. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Dark red-amber colour. Heavy malty and hoppy aroma. Raisin and prune notes. Very fruity and moderate bitter flavor. Long nice moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. very nice beer.

Cloudy mahogany with a meidum beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and spices. Sweet flavour with hoppy, caramel and citric and oiney notes. Finished bitter.
