Keg at Rampendhal Brewery, Osnabrück. Pours clear brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of caramel and honey. Taste is watery toffee, faint dried herbs. Thin finish.

1 l growler bought yesterday at the brew pub. Pours out in a darkest amber with a nearly two finger pale beige foamy head. Looks good. Grassy caramell smell. Taste is grainy malty, caramell and some decent sweetness. Low hop in the background. Not bad at all.

Keg at the brewpub. a mostly clear burnt orange amber coloured pour with a sticky beige head. Aroma is brown sugars, tangy apple, toasted malts, brown leaves. Palate is semi sweet, lowish carbonation watery. Flavour is composed nutty brown malts, toasted, little twig, toasted brown bread. Little bark in the finish.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours cloudy darkish amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clrar aroma of yeast, malt and hops and touches of caramel. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt, with estery notes, complemented by hoppy bitterness. Estery aftertaste. A nice Dunkel.

Unclear brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and nutty. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 160712

Dunkler süßlicher Beginn, zunächst etwas künstlich erscheinend. Dann wird das Bier aber angenehm karamellig, was im Verlauf noch weiterzunimmt. Dann auch etwas herber, der Fokus liegt auf der Süffigkeit. Nett! 8/10/12/11//11
