Ruhiger Typ mit kupferner Farbe. Unser Festbier ist glatt und fein.
Eine milde Bittere und ein ganz feines Aroma von Maronen und Marzipan begleiten den tragenden Körper dieses Bieres.

Bottle, 5.4%. Vinous aroma, some mold. Not too old. Clear golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour is mildly sweet, good vinous note. Well-balanced.

Bottle: Deep golden coloured, small white lacy layer; almost a tinge of alcohol in the sweet-malty nose, traces of roasted malt, but vegetables as well detectable; moderate bitter (!)-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; short hoppy-sweetish finish with a tinge of toasted malt. Clean, but not convincing............

(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a beautiful, light-beige foamy head. Sweet, slightly honey-ish malty aroma with citrus-fruity and light herbal hoppy notes. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Slightly bready malty taste with shy notes of honey; the finish is moderately sweet with a balancing hoppy bitterness, but also a bit slim and short. All in all a decent Festbier (10.07.08).
