500 ml bottle. Clear dark golden with a small head. Grain, malt, cooked vegetables, hay, nuts. Malty sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, malty grainy sweet finish. Not great, not bad either, a mediocre Festbier.

Optisch klares Gold, behäbige Perlung, wenig Schaum.

Bottle. Clear dark gold feat. a decent white head. Aroma of floral and earthy hops, grains, some grass and bread. Taste: see aroma. Ambiguously fruity and slightly spicy with a dry finish. Low to medium bitterness. Low to medium carbonation. Soft mouthfeel. Alright.

Pours clear golden with a fairly modest, white head. Mild malty aroma with slightly metallic notes, grass and hints of ripe, sour apples. Medium to moderate sweet with low flavour intensity, but a pleasant bitterness. Fair enough. --- Beer merged from original tick of Irlbacher Premium Exzellent on 19 Feb 2020 at 18:43 - Score: 6
