From a 330ml(?) bottle on 5/7/2020. Pours a deep deep brown with a medium tan head which dissipates quickly. has a strong chocolate and coffee aroma with a good dash of whisky at the back. Tastes of chocolate (both milk and dark), coffee, vanilla and raisins, with a light boozy whisky finish. It's complex, yet almost subtle, and borders on dessertish in nature. Doesn't have either the body or mouthfeel of something that's 11.2%, but that makes it a bit easier to drink than you might expect. An excellent and rewarding impy, if not quite justifying its hefty price tag.

Pours black with a fading dark tan head.Nose shows heavy roast, liquorice, roasted coconut, coffee liqueur and soft booze.Flavours include heavy roast, bready malt, toasty notes, soft whisky.
