Thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Malty-dry aroma. Starts mild, malty, light spicy hints. A bit moldy. Finish well balanaced. Okay.

Sampled from 0.5 l bottle from EDEKA Mohr at 4.8% abv, best before September 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, moderately grassy-spicy aroma straw, some grains and faint hints of cardboard. Slightly sweetish, moderately bitter, grainy and quite grassy taste of grains, straw and cardboard, followed by a short, rather dry-bitter, grassy and slightly metallic, cardboardy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pretty bad for the price, twice as expensive as the stuff from LIDL or Aldi but not any better, sorry.

50cl. The beer is golden in the glass. It starts watery, perfumy-artificial, slightly grainy. The mainpart is bitter (without any other hop-aroma), grainy and gone fast. The aftertaste is not really there, only a bit grainy-sweet, slightly bitter.
--> not a good Kölsch. Unround and sharp. --> 8/10/8/8

Ein gutes Kölsch, das eigentlich keins sein darf. Ein wenig malzig und Kölsch typisch mild, ohne dabei wässrig zu schmecken. Lange ausklingender Nachgeschmack, sehr süffig. Lecker, mehr davon! Test vom 7.2.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,8,13,10,9,10 - 10,10

Bottled. A golden beer with a bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet matly with light notes of grain, while the flavor is sweet malty, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 50cl. @ home.Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, hay, toasted, light hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081020]
