Light Beer on kevyesti humaloitu, vaalea lagerolut, jonka jälkimaku on raikas.
Light Beer on palkittu useaan kertaan The Brewing Industry International Awards -kilpailussa Englannissa. Vuonna 2008 Light Beer voitti hopeamitalin USA:ssa järjestetyssä World Beer Cupissa gluteenittomien oluiden sarjassa

Can. As Saxon 4.1. A quite pale yellow-golden beer with a minimal white head. Weak and boring nose, actually not very pleasant either, with corn and some pale malts. Hints of fruityness. Fizzy, watery mouthfeel with a little bitterness, and grains. Slightly papery mouthfeel towards the finish, which is as uninteresting as the rest of the beer. Rating: 3-2-3-2-6-1.6. (090819)
Can, thx to oh6gdx. A clear, golden beer with a nice off-white head leaving nice lacings. Cooked vegetables and corn-like sweetness in the aroma, not awful, but hardly inviting. Cooked vegetables and corn in the flavor too, quite sweet. There’s also a fruity touch, but just a hint of hoppy bitterness. Medium to thin, sweetish mouthfeel. The finish continues the DMS path, and has a little bitterness for decency. A beer the world don’t need. (081206)

Biggish white head. Deep yellow body. Grain and straw aroma. Dryish grainy corn taste with some sweetness and watery notes. Very faintly buttery. Watery, soft mouthfeel. Dryish papery aftertaste with grassy metallic notes. Drinkable, but not good. (0.5l can labelled Carlsberg Sweden SAXON 4.1%, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

Can shared at a summer rating party in Tromsø. Clear, light amber. Snow-white head. Little more than smell of hard water. Some sweet hoppy notes in flavour and a hint of bitter sweetness in the finish. Light bodied (14.06.2008).
