Can. I thought the other Lysholmer low-carb beer, Lysholmer Pure, was enough, but appearantly not. As expected, it’s rather pale, to say it is golden would be stretching it, so the best part of the appearance is the head, which is dense, white and of nice height. The aroma starts with a lots of vegetables and grains. After a couple of minutes to let the beer rest, it seems the vegetables have left, and a fruityness occurs. There’s not much aroma though, and the same goes for the flavor. There’s fruityness and grains, with a little bitterness towards the end. It feels rather dry in the mouth, and the body is quite watery. If you’re a ticker, buy it, if not stay away;-). And to Ringnes, please try something new soon. It’s a refreshing beer, and it’s low on calories, but why shouldn’t refreshing be tasteful? (080223)

Ice brewed (?) 500ml can from my local Prix store. Fragile, white foamy head over a straw coloured body. Slightly grassy-fruit aroma. Sweet vapid fruits in flavour that gets very insipid after a while. Lively carbonated. Tame mildness impression. No more cans of this one for me (17.02.2008).

Medium offwhite shiny head. Yellow body with carbonation. Light mealy apple aroma with papery notes. Dry papery metallic apple taste with yeasty notes. Medium body. Mild mouthfeel. Some medicinal, herbal notes, too, in the aftertaste. Faint buttery traces. Overall quite low on taste. Low on carbs, low on taste, some off tastes, I guess is the summary. Pointless, really. (0.5l can from Meny.)
