Smooth-mild, fresh, slightly sweet. Not watery. Smooth mild and highly drinkable. The aftertaste is slightly grainy, smooth and refreshing! Ideal for a hot day :) --> 9/12/9/9

330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with small to average, frothy, fading, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy aroma, hay and straw. Taste is grainy, strawy, a touch of vanilla, notes of wood. The cypress wood gives a close to nothing some flavour.

330ml bottle. Pours dark gold with no head. Aroma is vegetable curry and icing sugar. Taste is generic lager with corn on the finish. I can taste those choice grains. Bland and boring.

33cl bottle from Budgens Islington drunk at Shitty Beer Night 2013. Appearance - slightly hazy pale gold with thin white head 2/5 Aroma - Some vague peanut butter. Slight vegetal cabbage aroma. I mean it’s still not good, some vague lemon 2/5 Flavour - cabbage and some lemony hop. Like the Mahou not horrific, even vaguely pleasant. If you like cabbage and lemon. 4/10 Palate - creamy carbonation is fine. 3/5 Overall - I can’t pick between this and the Mahou. Pretty similar in there flavours. Some lemon on flavour and finish. Some dryness on tongue. OK.

330ml bottle purchased in Finland, brewed in EU for Pierhead purchasing UK. Clear golden body with fizzy average head, that rapidly disappears. Sweet malt aroma and taste; caramel and grain, cooked cabbage, maybe some fruit and honey notes to. Dull and bland... @Home 27.Apr.2013
