Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly concentrated sweet grassy, vanilla sugar, wet hops, leafs, caramel malts, grass, sugar, bark, alcohol, minerals. Taste is sweet grassy, wet leafs, sugar, lots of hops, cardboard, bark, weeds, harsh grass, alcohol, minerals. Medium to longlasting bitterness, dry harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Sample from bottle at Haand Beer Festival 2013, Drammen. Hazy brown colour. moderate cream-coloured to beige head. Very malty and "thick" aroma, notes of caramel, hints of molasses. Rich and sweet flavour, caramel and notes of oak, some hops are definitely around, but I’d like some more to balance the sweetness.

En väldigt bra Barley Wine. Rund och fin i smaken, välbalanserad. Len med smak av karamell och kola. Bra gjort.

Draught @ Ølfestival København 2012
Aroma is sweet with exotic fruits and some raspberries. Flavour is sweet with hops, some ripe fruits and fruit sugar. Palate becomes sticky after some sips. Rather typical barley wine done in American way.

Copenhagen Beer Festival. Cloudy amber beer. Very dry palate. Sweetish frothy malt. A little spice. Warming finish. Alright but too dry to be great.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of spices and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter notes of hops, leading to a dry strawy finish.
