Bottle that was brought over in a Old Chimneys case of beer along with our beer order for Merton Beer Festival, thanks to Marc Bartram Poured mid brown, nice hoppy nose. Good hoppy bitter with nice bitterness, good malts. Another fine beer from Old Chimneys, not quite up there with some of them but still pretty damn decent.

Bottle conditioned, 500 ml, bought at Memorable Cheeses, Ipswich. Dark copper coloured, hazy (poured the yeast in). Low head, moderate natural carbonation. Moderate malty aroma, hints of caramel, spices and camphor. Flavour is well balanced, malty and a bit spicy, but has a substantial hoppy bitterness in the finish. Very good.
