50cl bottle from Sainsburys. Copper with a thin white head; soft, fruity aroma; sweet and fruity in the style of Vimto; thin and watery to start but with some pleasant malts towards the end. Disappointing. (5/3/5/3/9=2.5)
Gravity cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Copper with a ring of white head; weak malt aroma; thin with an earthy malt flavour and some decent hoppy spiceness to finish. Disappointing again. (5/3/6/4/12=3)

Cask gravity at Reading BF 09. Clear attractive copper colour. Thin beige head. Now I quite like Wolf and I have a soft spot for them from the first time I went to Norwich. OK bitter. Some sweetish moderate malt. Good condition 3.0/5. Re-rate bottle from Sainsbury. Proper bitter with good yeast character, proper brown biscuit malts and good bittering hops on the finish. Proper old school drinkable sessionable bitter.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel as well as lighter notes of butterscotch and diacethyl. The flavor is sweet with a weird mixture of caramel, butterscotch, and diacethyl, leading to a slightly bitter finish. Thanks fonefan and Brugmansia for sharing.

Bottle, 4.7%. Yeasty and spicy hop aroma. Almost clear dark amber colour. Cardboard flavour, turning quite malty and roasted. Ends up almost OK. Tastes old, but is not.
