50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is medium dry malty with a light hops bitterness, vague fruity note. Flavour is medium dry and bitter with a mild fruity note, yet vague. Somewhat disappointing IPA yet still a good brew.

Canette 500ml (LCBO). De couleur dorée et claire. Nez de houblon terreux, légèrement herbeux et aux notes citriques (pamplemousse), malté de céréales avec des notes de caramel doux, légèrement fruit. (agrumes, léger de pommes) et avec des notes de tabac de cigarette. Mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et une texture légèrement crémeuse et aqueux. Goût légèrement fruité (agrumes, notes de pommes, traces de pêches) accompagné d’un goût moyen-léger amer de houblon herbeux, légèrement terreux et aux notes florales et citriques (une amertume présente en arrière-goût durant toute la gorgée) et d’un léger goût de tabac lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût malté de céréales avec un petit goût de biscuits et de caramel (faibles notes rôties) puis en finale l’on retrouve un faible regain d’amertume de houblon herbeux plus asséchant. Post-goût moyen et un peu sec, légèrement amer de houblon herbeux aux petites notes terreuses et florales ainsi qu’un léger goût fruité (zest d’agrumes, pelures de pommes rouges).

500ml Bottle. Golden coloured with a slight white head. Aroma was hoppy with citrus and grassy notes. Flavour had some sweet malt before a decent hoppy finish. Good.

Deep golden colour. Foamy white head. Aroma is dry and a little grassy with a soapy aroma in the background. Flavour is a bit dry and bitter with some floral notes.

500ml bottle from Waitrose. Straw with a dense white head; aroma of fresh grass and hops; strong hop flavour, but not too bitter, some citrus and some sweetness; sustained bitter finish.

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is grass, hay and some malts. Flavour is bitter hayish and very grassy. Not very pleasant, and very dry.

Brown bottle, 500 ml, best before 03 JUN 05, savoured on April 3 2007; eye: amber, clear, slight effervescence, compact white head that becomes a ring around the glass, a bit of lacing; nose: grainy malt, no hops at all; mouth: grainy malt, arrival of bitter hops that disappeats almost immediately, malt comes back, a thin layer of caramel, finale in grainy malt with a hint of bitterness, rather thin, mildly bitter, lightly sweet, medium body, grainy texture, average carbonation; overall: ordinary FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 500 ml, meilleure avant 03 JUN 05, savourée le 3 avril 2007; œil : ambrée, claire, très légère effervescence, petite mousse blanche compacte qui se transforme en un petit anneau, un peu de dentelle; nez : malt granuleux, aucun houblon; bouche : malt granuleux, apparition de houblon amère qui disparaît presque aussitôt, retour du malt granuleux, petit filet de caramel, finale en malt granuleux avec une petite touche d’amertume, plutôt mince, moyennement amère, légèrement sucrée, corps moyen, texture granuleuse, carbonatation moyenne; en résumé : ordinaire
