This IPA pours a golden yellow with a white spore like head. Metallic scent with a touch of grassy grain to the nose. First sip was very hoppy but had mellow carbonation. Sharp bitterness held on until the palate. A real thirst quencher the palate was nothing to write home about

Bottle: Poured a golden colored ale with a small head with minimum retention. Aroma is mostly comprised of floral malts with limited sweetness. Taste is lightly hoppier then your average English pale ale and a bit dry at the end. Overall, very refreshing but I feel again that this would be way better served fresh on cask…

Bottle. Dusty herbal hops (clear glass bottle - very slight skunk) and buttery aroma. Clear red golden color, champagne carbonation, fluffy white head. Cracker malt, weakish lemony hops. A tad watery and anonymous in the exit.

Golden beer with little head, but nice lacing. Lemon and flowery hops aroma. Initial sweet honey-ish flavour, but sharp dry hops finish.

12/3/2003: Slight malt and skunkiness. Golden yellow robe. Thin head which collapses quickly. Some nice malt taste with a tinge of maltiness in the mouth. 5-3-6-2-12 Rerated 22/10/04 Golden ale with sweet corny aroma , lots of butter. The mouth is quite good with good restrained aromatic hops, lightly floral, with a good crisp malt and medium bodied.Much better this time: 5-3-7-3-14 Average: 5-3-7-3-13

An orange beer with a fine creamy head. The aroma is faintly malty sweet. The flavor hoppy sweet in the beginning from an OK malt blend combined with a very smooth mouthfeel. It finishes on a fruity bitterness, that lingers. An OK beer, but not an IPA, not strong enough nor bitter enough. I'd call it a bitter.

Bright golden-bronze colour. Minerally, salty, hoppy aroma, reminiscent of farmer's fields. Lively palate is minerally, earthy, with a peachy hoppiness, and a refreshing raspberry note. I enjoyed this a lot more from the bottle - this beer is too snappy to benefit from the lower carbonation and higher serving temperature of cask-conditioning. The score on cask was 2.0.
