Prodotta con aggiunta di fiori di Salvia Sclarea (di Montegioco), denota un bel color ambra, limpido, molto vivo e presenta un naso complesso, con note fruttate (agrumi e frutta rossa), di caramello, speziate, floreali (violetta, rosa). In bocca è molto piena, morbida, di grande corpo, evidenziando il calore dell’alcol. Lunga e complessa, ha un percorso molto articolato verso un finale in cui l’amaro è atipico, molto aromatico, speziato, vegetale; ricorda un amaro alle erbe, lunghissimo nel retrolfatto.

750 from Star Grocery in Berkeley, CA. Opens with a pop, and it gushes. Pour is hazy, amber ripe stone fruity with a foamy head that quickly leaves. Strong ripe light stone fruit aromas. Near full in body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is ripe light stone fruit with some yeastiness. But the main impact is near ripe peach or apricot. The flavor is lush and fruity. I’m not getting sage. But this is one fantasic tasting ale. Even more tasty than the Demon Hunter.

From tap at bir and fud. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Dry phenolic and malty aroma. Fruity yeasty and phenolic flavoured with a light spice note. Sweet and fruity finish.

Bottle 375ml.Unclear light to medium amber orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sour fruity malts, orange, moderate yeasty, barnyard, wood notes. Flavor is moderate sweet, light to moderate acidic and sour with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. (080808)

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sour fruits, sour wood and sweet caramel. Also some alcohol. Flavour is spicy, earthy and caramelly. If sampled in a blindtasting I would probably guess it’s Belgian...
