Bottle. Dusty/buttery hoppy aroma. Golden colour, small stable head. Mild flavour, quite malty for a lager. Nice bitterness in aftertaste. Very well made lager.

Bottled. Golden, a bit cloudy, minor white foamy head. Strong hoppy and fruity aroma with hints of yeast. Strong bitter taste just like Fallen Angel and Heaven. Bitter and very dry aftertaste.

Bottled (BB 11/2004)
Light amber color, small creamy head, lively carbonation. Fresh pinewood aroma. Mouthfeel is oily, pine hoppy, sweetish. Medium-bodied and fresh. Slightly bitter hoppy finish.

Peachy orange, very slight haze; very carbonated, good, slightly yellowish, head, collapsing. Hoppy, herbal, very faint camphor in the nose. Very hopbitter taste, even bit of bogmyrtle, but not too much for its 5.1 ABV. Very slight biscuity flavour, lurking under all the hops. White grapes retronasal. Very refreshing. Palate is a bit empty - not really surprising for a well-attenuated bottom-fermenting beer. This is an exceptionally enjoyable "lager". I caught myself leasurely drinking away, 'stead of carefully recording flavours and impressions. Good sign - if all "strong lagers" were like this one... Good Hell! - JPP as a lager lout!

A sligtly unclear yellow beer with a beutiful lasting head. The aroma is very light with notes of fruit, citrus, and wheat. The flavor is nicely hoppy, sweet, carbonated, prickling, and very fresh. It ends on a really nice bitterness. A really great pilsener.

Golden colour, nice perlage. At first, a boring lager aroma, but just after a very nice hop aroma appears, improving every minute.
Very interesting flavor, quite rare for a bottled lager: dry but with a strong body; the first impression reveals the high hopping, only partially balanced by the malt, even of good quality. The palate is strong, far beyond the average, just too bitter in the (maybe a too long infusion), but the aromatic hop is remarkable, and the maltiness doesn't hide too fast.
I couldn't stop drinking stuff like this, till now one of the best Scandinavian I had.

Golden coloured big firm head. Big very hopa romatic smell - loads of cascade in here. Medium dry, firm malty body, and very bitter finish. This lager tastes more like an American Pale Ale.
