(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty fruity nose with notes of dried fruit, caramel, rye bread, toast and a touch of treacle. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, caramel, ryvita, orange, dried apricots, honey and a slightly spicy bitterness in the finish. A bit more than medium body, with some malt sweetness. Tasty and quite nice.

500 bottle, from Vinmonopolet Vika. Batch #461. Unfiltered and unpasteurised. ABV is 7.5%. Hazy amber colour, large off-white head. Sweetish but nice aroma, ripe fruits, malts and some caramel. The flavour is also fruity and malty, medium sweet, with tolerable hops in the finish. The alcohol is not very well hidden, but that’s okay - after all, this IS a bock. Quite enjoyable.

Medium offwhite head. Clear (paleish) amber body. Roasty caramelly raisiny aroma with strawberry and earth notes. Dry-sweet roasty rye crisp bread and caramel taste with syrupy dusty toffee notes. Fullish body. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish roasty dusty rye crisp bread aftertaste with strawy earthy caramel notes. Excellent! A really harmonic and vivid beer. (0.5l bottle from wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

0.5l bottle. It pours a near-clear thin bronze body with a small fading and quickly sidesticking off-white head. The aroma has some sweet caramel and dark malty tones, kinda fruity also with hint of leafs. Not extreme at all. It's lively carbonated and it has a nice and light oily mouthfeel. Flavors also kinda dark malty with some burned caramel, nuts and a nice hopy hint toward the finish and good alcohol tones in the aftertaste. Yeah, drinkable and all that, but bocks just is not that my kind of thing. This was ok though.
