Full bodied with a nutty flavour. A beer from the past. 'That' is a chestnut coloured best bitter brewed with crystal malt to give a robust malt flavour. Challenger and Sovereign hops give a bitterness to balance any sweetness.

Cask @ Jan Primus. Clear amber color, short off-white head. Aroma is soft hoppy, bit flowery, some caramel malt, cookie. Quite bitter taste, soft, bit fruity. Decent bitter.

Cask. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty and nutty combined with lighter notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, leading to a lightly bitter and nutty finish. A bit boring.
Bottled. An amber beer with a light yellow head. The aroma is sweet, but also with and acidic edge behind the fruity notes. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of dusty hops, leading to a bitter end. The body is thin. [4/3/5/2/10]

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy amber colour with a nice, creamy, off-white head. Vaguely tart, citrusy nose. Quite light-bodied. Dominated by a marked sourness - but no real sense of malt. Dry, hoppy finish. Another infected and explosive beer from Teme Valley. 231205

Amber color. Ordinary aroma, herbal and vegetables. Quite dry, bitter, aggressive, herbal, irony, therefore a bit metallic.
