Deutlich rauchiger Geschmack, intensiv herb im Hintergrund, sonst sind keine großartigen Aromen erkennbar. Nun wechselt das Verhältnis zwischen Herbe und Rauchigkeit, wenig hopfig, spät auch malzig, nett. SEHR trocken. Ein typischer IPA Geschmack fehlt hier eher. /12/11/12//12

Amber with a lasting white head, leaving some lace. Odd mix of bacon and peat smoke in the aroma. Sweet and malty flavour with a peat smoke finish.

Cask at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. A clear, orange-golden beer with a small beige head. Smoked nose that I am not overly pleased with, as it has notes of cows droppings. Still, it is nice in way, probably because it also has malty sweetness, caramel and a hoppy touch. The flavor is not much smoked at all, with caramel sweetness and maltyness doing most of the job, followed by a nice hoppy fruityness. A bit thin in the mouth. The smoke is stronger in the finish again, where it has resemblances to the aroma. A quaffable beer, but the aroma is demanding. (080913)

On tap at ølbaren , Copenhagen. Amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma is smoke, malt, hop. Flavour is smoke, dry, malt, hop, malt. Nice beer.

Draught at EBF 2008, Copenhagen, Denmark. Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, excellent lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, smoke, rubber - burnt platic, light to moderate hoppy, orange. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [130908]

(On tap) Clear deep golden with an off-white head. Weird smoke aroma that mostly reminds me of fresh cow manure. Medium body - or almost watery - with light malty accents. Some bitterness. Unpleasant and unbalanced. 130908

Draft. An amber with huge light tan head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of flowers, grass, and cow manure as well as hints of smoke. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel as well as notes smoke, rope, and cow manure, leading to a dry smokey and manure finish.

Had this at the European Beer Festival, Kobenhaven 13-09-08 This had a really smokey nose but I found ot to be much smokier in the mouth.. Some smoked mackerel which whilst doesn’t sound great in beer I rather liked. Really quite fresh tasting but with a lingering bitterness.

EBF2008. From tap. Pours clear and golden orange with a fully gone head , briefly was off-white head. Aroma mild hoppy and vague smoked. Light smoked and smooth hoppy base flavour. Light bitterness into the finish with a mild fruity note from the hops.

Handpumped, 5.3% at EBF08. Clear shiny red copper colour. Nice big stable creamy tan head. Subtle smoke flavour, a little horse and stable. 636317
