On tap at the European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. Pours an almost clear pale golden body with a cute white head on top. Lovely citrusy, floral aroma with some faint malty notes. The flavor has some sweet maltyness, followed by citrusy, floral and fruity hops where orange is quite evident. Medium body. Orange and bitterness in the finish. Maybe a bit one-dimensional, but really well-tasting and easy to drink. (080912)

From tap. Pours cloudy yellow with a lacing white head. Aroma is hoppy and grapefruity with a distinct acidic/citric hops note. Smooth and slight sweet malty with a nice marmelade like fruity hops flavour on top. Bitter and slight acidic hoppy finish with a lingering fruity accent. Nice one although it was half a year old and presumeable would be more fresh hoppy in a fresher brewed version.

Draught, 6.6%. Good hop aroma, sweet and grassy. Also caramelly, perhaps from the malt. Hazy yellow colour, stable white head. The flavour is also quite hoppy, grassy and refreshing. Good body. Also some sweetness to balance the hops. Hint of yeast in the aftertaste.

(Re-rate, keg at Pikkulintu, 20130821) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness, caramell and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Afteraste was hoppy and bitter. A very nice malty IPA. No need to adjust the score.

Draught at Rover, Göteborg
Hazy orange-copper color; there is a persistent layer, creamy. It has a wonderful hoppy aroma, fruity, sweet, flowery; after a few minutes it develops a more evident apricot aroma too, apricot jam and other perfumy yellow fruits (dry hopped with Cascade). It has a medium body strength and a very smooth mouthfeel; there must be a strong toffee flavor, but it’s just swept away by the extreme hopping, that gives highest bitterness, fruits and some resins. Technically, it’s unbalanced, but so good…
