A sem patří i náš Kocour IPA.

draught at Zly Casy beer festival May 2009. Hazy golden yolour, mid-sized white head. Aroma of citrus fruits and hops. Intensively bitter and citrusy flavours dominate. Very fruity with nice malty-sweetish flavours. Bitter-sweet, strong, intensive.

(On tap). slightly hazy golden with a dense white head. Clean malty nose with a flowery touch. Medium body, very clean and malty with a bitter finish from flowery hops. Really more of a good Czech pilsener than an IPA. 120908

Draught at EBF 2008, Copenhagen, Denmark. Light unclear medium orange color with a large, creamy - rocky, excellent lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, herbal hops, moderate yeasty, barnyard - hay alike. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 120908

hazy orange with a big and creamy white head. Bready malt and herbal hops in the aroma. Strong hop flavour with plenty bitterness, and, unfortunately, a vegetable note in the background.

Draught. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is hayish, mildly earthy and also some notes of yeast and mild fruityness. Flavour is fruits, earth and some mould. Yet quite balanced. Something like Czech pils meeting a British style IPA.

Draught at Europen Beer Festival, Copenhagen. Hazy bronze colour, average sized head. Concentrated hay aroma - even though I know that no Czech hops are used (it’s mostly American if I remember correctly) I get moer associations to saaz than anything else. Dryish and soft with generous body. The hop flavour is quite dtrong and leads to a lasting but not assaulting bitterness. The reason why I find this beer so great is that it combines the soft malt profile of Czech beers with new days microbrewing hop levels.

Cloudy amber with huge white creamy head. Sweet yeasty aroma with fruity and mild hoppy notes. Sweet flavour that goes same way with a mild hoppy finish.

Draught Head gone in secs; pale clear beer. Smells like fermenting lager! Then hops, at last, and a bit buttery. In the taste it resembles a good UK IPA; UK hops, dry finish. Dry, very attenuated beer, good. I repeat: NOT a USA IPA - a British one... with very lager yeast-like characteristics.
