Golden Seahawk formerly known as Golden Eagle became a regular brew in Summer 2001 and has rapidly become a firm favourite with local drinkers. Seahawk is traditionally brewed with Devon pale and crystal malted barley which gives the beer its characteristic bright golden colour. Carefully selected Goldings, Challenger and Styrian hops provide a fragrant aroma with a background of honey flavour offering a fruit filled smooth finish.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear amber. Sweaty hay aroma. Sweet and medium bodied with chewy malt. Low on hops. Sugary lighy caramelly finish with a touch of salt.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear pale amber. Fruity nose with plenty of dust and boiled vegetables. Medium dry with rounded mouthfeel. The finish is pleasantly bitter. A decent pint, once you get past the initial surge of dusty vegetables.

Cask at GBBF 2006. I normally really like Cotleigh beers, but I thought that this was slightly average. Copper colour with thin beige head. Reasonably good hop aroma. Juicy malts in mouth. Not the best Cotleigh, but fruit and hop are ok. 3.1.5.0 Re-rate Cask handpull at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Like all Cotleigh beers, has good flavours, good ingredients, excellent mouthfeel. Great easy drinking bitter with a significant bitter finish. Wide mouthfeel, minerality but just a great bitter

Cask at County Hotel, Ashford. Golden beer. I like Cotleigh beers and this did not let me down. Good balance of fruit and hops and left me wanting another pint, but I had to get home.
