A pale amber ale from our oldest local brewery using Cascade hops and Munich malts this is a beer that enjoys wonderful balance between hop bitterness and malt presence and is named after the graffiti image of a headless Labrador on the old brew-house wall.

500ml bottle at home. Slightly hazy deep amber pour with a fluffy off white head that lasts. Nose is bready and biscuity malt with piney hops. Flavour is so well balanced between the biscuit malt and the hop flavour of pine and grapefruit. Balanced mouthfeel.

Bottle online from KWM Wines, Northern Ireland. Pours almost clear pale amber with an off-white cap. Aroma: sweet grains, light toasty. Taste: light to moderate sweet and bitter, malt, grains, earthy, light caramel. Medium body with soft carbonation. The munich malt gives this a bit of character, it's fine.

500ml bottle. Pours hazy gold with a tall white head. Aroma is sour berries, malt and phenols. Taste is light sour, berries, malt. Light bitter finish. Very strange and nothing that I expected. Probably a bad bottle.
