6th Sep 2019, 500ml bottle; BB 26th Sep 2020, in Bistro 401, Belfast. dark amber body, off-white crown. Malty molasses rule the nose and flavour, some light fruity hop action around also, which gives a mildy bitter finish.

Grabbed bottle from hotel bar and brought to room to sip while reading. Lovely clear amber pour two finger head. Nose is light florals and caramel. Tastes of toffee, floral, hint of fruit, some lightly bitter hops. Smooth palate.

Light brown and a bit cloudy. Aroma and flavour have some muted malts and apple pips. Watery.

Cask halfpint at the Crown, Belfast. ABV 4.5%. Copper colour, off-white head. Malty aroma, some mild roasty notes. The flavour is also malty with fairly distinct roasty notes, also a noticeable hop bitterness in the finish.

Bottle 0.5l. Almost clear, amber colored. AROMA- honey, caramel. FLAVOR- neutral, lightly bitter, caramel, bread crusts, biscuits. Light to medium bodied.
Very well drinkable, good.

Cask at the Crown, Belfast. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy off white head. The aroma is sweet malt, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth dry grainy malt, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Deep copper color with a fine off white head. Caramel/toffee malty, mild yeast fruity and herbal ale. Faint roasted notes. Medium body and soft carbonation. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness.

Amber gold colour medium white head. Malted toffee aroma in the main, toasted malt in taste with some pine coming through. Dry bitter finish.
