You can only drink so many beers in a lifetime, so you better make each one count. That's where we can help. Because at Epic we're obessed with creating big hop-fuelled beers. This takes a shed-load of skill. It also takes a shed-load of hops. In fact there are 23 crammed into this bottle. Many brewers would call that 'insane'. We call it flavour.

Bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Clear amber. Thin, bubbly, off white head. Nice, fusty orange hop. Sweet, toffee malts. Hint of spice. Hint of blackcurrant. Taste is soft sweet. Lightly spicy dry. Chewy, zesty bitter. Decent body. A bit too much fizz. Finishes long bitter, and a bit of spicy dryness. Easy drinking.

330ml bottle at Shawty’s Cafe, Twizel. Pours clear brownish amber with a large head that quickly dies and leaves a beautiful residual foam. Underwhelming nose compared to the great taste.

500mL bottle, enjoyed immediately after purchase, pours a clear copper / bronze with a small off-white head. Aroma of floral hops predominantly, grass, a bit of citrus and a crackery malt backing. Flavour brings out dry notes of grassy and floral hops, citrus and a substantial crackery / biscuity malt backing. Quite a dry, monolithic palate, with not much character. I'm not sure how fresh this is, as there is no bottle date, but seems it could be fresher. Decent pale ale, but nothing overly interesting.

50cl bottle pours clear copper with gold edges and off white head. The aroma is spicy to almost cedar wood spice, floral hops and a lime like citrus note. The taste has a hoppy mix of floral hop bitterness, spicy hops and lemon to lime citrus like notes. Interesting bright to acidic hop notes.
