You can only drink so many beers in a lifetime, so you better make each one count. That's where we can help. Because at Epic we're obessed with creating big hop-fuelled beers. This takes a shed-load of skill. It also takes a shed-load of hops. In fact there are 23 crammed into this bottle. Many brewers would call that 'insane'. We call it flavour.

Crystal clear copper with almost non-existent white head. Aroma of line and soft citrus. Slightly thin mouthfeel follows through with massive pine and flora. Effervescent rounded on the to the in the end. Slightly bitter and nice dryness.

From a 500ml bottle on 13/12/2010. Has a nice lively floral, citrus fruit and banana aroma. Subdued caramel malt, zesty fruit (especially orange and grapefruit), and some spiciness present when it hits the mouth. Nice and hoppy, without being over the top. A very good and eminently quaffable APA.

Light bronze. The aroma is green and woody with cascades and a little bit of caramel. Soft body. Moderate bitterness. A little bit woody. Ok, but neither the bitterness nor the brightness is enough to truly compete.

Light copper, cream head. Big dry lemon zest and grapefruit nose. Medium bodied, a little chewy. Complex fruity malts are quite sufficient to balance the hops. A touch of Moroccan preserved lemon at the end. The aroma suggests its going to be just hops, but this has a bit more about it than that. It’s very good, but the parts don’t quite fit together for mine. [3.6] [rerate] Small bottle. Gold, great off-white head. Maybe this is a tad warmer but there’s quite a lot more going on with the hop aroma - there’s a bit of pine and herbs to go with the citrus. Pretty straight ahead and very nice.

Pours golden amber with a large persistent head.Aroma shows lots of fruit, grassy, and resiny hops. Grapefruit, orange blossom, nectarines. Behind this is a fair bit of sweet malt and caramel.Very hoppy taste, but with less sweet fruits. There’s still some grapefruit, grassy notes and peaches, followed by some sweet clean malt. Then a strong bitterness rolls through, growing bigger and bigger. However it is exceptionally well-balanced by the afore-mentioned malt.Good medium body with a light, but refreshing, carbonation.

Bottle at The Spotify tasting. Yes, certainly hoppier than on cask, but it then lacks a bit of body too. Yes it is hoppy and enjoyably but still not living up to its hype. Touch of rose petal flavour.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear golden orange with a lacing white head. Crisp citrusy and mild peachy hops aroma. Light citrusy initially in the flavour with a light bitterness mixed with a mild sweetness. Light fruity and bitter finish.
