On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy copper with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong maple and roast. Medium body, strong maple syrup, cocoa, light finish, very good.

Draught @ tommyknocker. Poured brown color with a thin white head. Aroma has caramel, boozy notes, hops. Maple suryp comes through in the finish at least. Feels quite thin overall.

(Keg at Tommyknocker, Helsinki, 20150523) The beer poured mahogany coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had caramel, sweetness, burnt sugar and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness, molten sugar, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, sweet and bitter. A too sweet and still harsh brew.

Bottle. A- Malty, real maple syrup, caramel, nutty. A- Copper color, clear liquid, quickly fading brown head. T- Malty, subtle maple syrup, caramel, bready. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- Not too shabby. I could actually smell and sort of taste the maple syrup. I am not a brown ale fan but this one was alright. Could benefit from more of a nutty taste and a tab more maple on the palate otherwise good.

Bottle at Tusk & Trotter. Clear brown color, tan head. Aroma of chocolate and malted milks balls. Mostly cocoa taste, light and easy to drink.

Bottle: Hazy brown with red highlights...short, off-white head. Maple syrup and nut aroma. Sweet, smooth nutty flavor with maple hints. Rich, sweet. Not overtly maple, but a good, solid brown ale.... Tasty.

Dark Dirty Brown, Medium Small Head That Does Not Last, Spotty Lacing. Mellow Maple, Toasted Malt Aroma. Maple, Toasted Malt, Caramel, Sugary Sweet. Slightly Higher Carbonation Than I Like. Pretty Good. Worth A Try...

Bottle on the road to Hill Farmstead. Pours clear, red-brown with a tan, cream head. Toasty malt nose with some hazelnut notes. Medium sweet flavor with a bit of toasty sugars, brown sugar, light caramel, hints of maple, light chocolate, fine leaves. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming to finish with light sticky sugars, toast, brown sugar, light maple. Very nice brown ale, well balanced.
