Slightly hazy pale golden colour, good frothy white head, dissipates slowly, minimal lacing. Aroma pale malts, white grapes, pear, cloves, yeast. Flavour light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, light malty, candy sugar, light fruity, bit alcoholic. Sweetbitter middle part, peppery and somewhat sharp alcohol in the finish, sugary. Full-bodied, oily to sticky texture, average carbonation, quite sweet and spicy tripel.

Frothy white head soon left a cover on a hazy light orange coloured body. Lemon, yeast,citrus & orange aroma. Medium bodied. Very smooth on the palate with a slight prickle on the back. Tastes as the aroma with sweet citrus, banana, yeast & a peppery finish.

F: huge, snow-white, good retention. C: yellow/pale gold, light hazy. A: malty, banana, fruity esters, herbal, pear, bit of yeasty, spicy, floral. T: malty, a lot of banana, herbal, honey, warming alcohol, pear, spicy, grassy, very Belgian feeling for German beer, medium to full body, medium to high carbonation, some plastic feeling but ok for the style nothing extra tasty but not bad, 33cl bottle from Albert Heijn Duinenwater supermarket in Knokke.
