bottle. Aroma is too faint to really enjoy what there is.bread, caramel, roasted stuff. but way too faint. pours hazy brown with an agressively huge head, that settles to a nice head soon thereafter. flavor: much stronger than aroma advertised. caramel, roasted malts, brown sugar, raisins. lots of good stuff in there.

Bottled. Dark ruby with small tan head. Lightly roasty sugary nose. Quite malty, but lies hard in the mouth. Roasty with a touch of raisins. salty finish. Hard mouthfeel in combination with excessive carbonation takes the depth out of the flavour.

500ml bottle. Hazy dark reddish brown body with a dense beige head. Aroma has malt and caramel, actually a little hint of roast. Flavor is harmonic malt, caramel, bread and a little lack of hops.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, warm, dark amber with a dense, creamy, beige head leaving a broad curtain of laces. Soft, nutty, malty nose. Quite full-bodied with a very soft mouthfeel. Sweetish nutty and roasted malty notes. Nice alright but hasn’t really got the hop bite to be a genuine Alt. 200907
