From tap at the brewpub, 5.5%. Pours cloudy and golden brown with a creamy tan head. Roasted caramel malt and vaguely butterish nose. Dry ad creamy mouthfeel and flavour. Quite walnut flavoured. Mild spiced and dry caramel. Continues smooth into the finish. Dry and mild bitter into the far finish. Some light sweetness to counterbalance this would have been great.

A deep red beer with a beutiful light brown head. The aroma is sweet from malts, Apollo yeast, walnuts, caramel, and brown sugar. The flavor is sweet malty too with the notes primarily coming from caramel and secondary from roasted and slightly burnt wood and clearly walnuts. The end is very dry, woody, and rather bitter. It is very carbonated.
