Bottle, shared by Dedollewaitor. It pours a clear, amber body and a beige head. The nose has a milky touch to it, indicating infection evolving, but yet only weak. Else there’s malty sweetness and notes of milk chocolate. Sweet flavor with dried fruits, caramel and roasted malt. It finishes in the same way, but there’s also some sourness. Medium mouthfeel, quite fizzy. Sure going bad, but luckily quite hidden yet. Sure a beer I would like to try fresh. (080823)

50cl bottle. Thanks to DSG. Pours dark brown with a off white head. Nose is sweet of sugar, roast & caramel. A bit thin palate. Syrupy, roast & dark fruits. Too thin with a tiny sourish note which is not meant to be there. Could have been really good!

Cloudy brown with a lasting off-white head. Sweet and fruity aroma witha lot of dates. Acidic malt and fruit flavour. Tried it twice this summer (from the same batch though) and more or less sour both times.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a slightly hazy orangey brown with a creamy beige head. Sweetish aroma of roasted malt and fruit. Medium body with sweetish roasted malt and fruit - and then a very distinct sourish infection that doesn’t manage to completely spoil the whole beer. No bitterness. 290608

Etwas süßlicher und würzig-alkoholischer Antrunk. Harmonischer werdend, weich, im Abgang würziger, leider auch (zu) süß. Hier wird der Bockbierbezug am deutlichsten sichtbar. Interessant, mittelaromatisch, nett. Vielen Dank an Barak für das Bier! Test vom 27.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,8,8,9,11,9 - 8,90

Technically this beer comes from Syria :) Hazy nut brown color, small off-white head. Cardboardish, nutty aroma. Licorice, caramel with flat mouthfeel. Butterscotchy aftertaste.

swing top bottle (500ml). -RBESG2008, Grand Tasting.
Brown coloured, medium sized beige head, buttery nose. Syrupy, sweet sugary and lactic taste with some toffee. Would fresh beer be better???

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized brownish beige head. ARoma is quite acidic malts and sour wood along with some hints of syrup and green apples. Flavour is a bit acidic wood as well as some vanilla and earth. Probably infected, but hell, infected in a good way.

Bottle at the RBESG08 Grand Tasting. Syrupy, dusty, grim, not fully attenuated. Pretty revolting. More or less undrinkable.
