Bottle, 75cl corked, shared by fonefan. A quite clear, golden beer with an off-white head. Citrus and some spicy notes in a nice blend makes the aroma. Dry, medium full mouthfeel, fruity and bitter with a herbal touch and orange-peel. Lovely dryness, and a quite lovely beer overall. (080823)

75cl bottle. Pours ccloudy gold/amber with a fine white head. Nose is yeasty & grassy. Fruity taste. Quite fresh. Clean & ok!

Bottled. Cloudy golden, lasting creamy head. Aroma of herbal spices. Dry and lightly fruity with medium body. The interesting spicy flavour fades quickly, and is replaced by lingering saltiness. Delightful flavour while it lasts - but needs more staying power.

Huge, yellowish head over yellow-golden beer with foxy highlights. Herbal, grassy and slight caramel notes. All pretty classical and nothing repulsive. Bit of mustard powder. Marzipan flavour, slight caramel, quite malty with coloured malts. My wife complains of a metallic taste, but I cannot trace that. Retronasal very perfumed, as something floating in the "Body Shop" or a new age store. Slightly sticky MF, bit fizzy. Medium bodied at best. "They dared to!" were my first thoughts upon spotting this bottle. IMO, the worst brewery in this country, attacking the most traditional style. Having tasted it, it is not so bad. Which is why it is possibly brewed at Du Bocq?
