A classic schwarzbier with a subtle honey essence. It's dark but easy-drinking and crisp, just as a lager should be. Smooth and roasty with a hint of sweet golden honey. Sorry, beekeeper suite is not included. Prost!

2$ can from chalet, nice place. Pour is very nice a nearly black. Good looking tan head. Friendly malty dark roasted beer nose Very tasty initial uptake. Lots of dark beer flavor without any real bitterness or bad character. I really like dark lagers and schwartz and this is a good example of how a local domestic brewer can do this style justice. As far as the honey goes, not sure if I can pick any out. It does have a very slight sweetness but its nothing out of the normal style attributes. In the middle I'm getting some of that desirable old aged partially burnt campfire wood in there. Nice! Has a pretty good level of fine carbonation that makes this beer even easier to like. Finish? What finish? Balderdash, the can is gone! I should have got a sixer of these! Good stuff there pengy!

Brown with a medium sized foamy tan head that left decent lacing. Toasty and a bit roasty with a bread crust note. Medium finish and body.
