Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin rim of tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, as well as lighter notes of roasted malt, leading to a dry and roasted finish. The body is light. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Deep ruby, small airy head. Cocoa powder aroma. Medium sweet and light bodied with chewy, rounded mouthfeel. Toasty and chocolatey with bees wax and salt. A well drinkable, well structure dark mild with salty licorice finish.

Bottle, kindly shared by fonefan. It pours a clear, amber body under a layer of beige bubbles. Butterscotch, burnt malt, toffee and some coffee in the aroma. The flavor is toffeeish and burnt with butterscotch and coffee and some coffee-like bitterness towards the end. Medium body. A drinkable beer indeed, but I’m not very fond of butterscotch in my beers. (080822)

50 cL bottle. Pours almost clear golden deep amber with a lacing off white head. Spiced malty aroma with a mild vegetable note and biterhops. Flavour is mild chocolate malt, light roasted and with a distinct bitterness showing through. Lingering smoked malt a chocolate finish with a pronounced acidic touch from the roasted malt.

Cask at GBBF 08. Roasted choc aroma which is quite attractive, lacks a fullness in mouth. Good condition. Choc/coffee mild. Yep, ok, bit acidic on finish.
