Old rating. Bottle from old town. Aromas of vanilla, cinnamon, orange zest with a slight hint of malts. Taste is more of the same with a spicey finish. Not bad. --- Beer merged from original tick of Summer Solstice on 10 Aug 2017 at 20:08. Original review text: Backlog

12oz can. Poured a slight ruby amber color with a medium off-white head. Aroma was notes of sweet malts, sweet, almost nutty notes. Flavor was wheat notes, sweet malts. Toasted notes. Slight metallic notes.

Really quite bad. Way too much caramel, and some misplaced vanilla. Pours copper without much head or lacing. Too sweet. Can.

On tap at Tapwerks. Pours a clear amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of sweet wheat, toasted coconut, light fruit and some cookie. Flavor has lots of sweet wheat and toasted coconut and just a hint of light fruits.

Despite it’s darker body, this is a light and easy drinker for the summer months. Very lightly hopped, with some caramel/toffee sweetness. A mixture of an amber, a brown ale and some German dunkel. Interesting combo.

Draft from notes. Pours anber with a half finger of white head. Aroma of slightly sweet pale malts. Taste is light sweet with a little wheat and some roasty nuts. Meh, enjoyable and somewhat interesting but not too special.

Drought. Amber color with creamy beige head, doughy aroma, slightly sweet taste with hops flavor, fizzy, with a sour, abrupt finish. Thoroughly enjoyable summer beer.

Finally have some sun so opened a summer beer! 5% caramel amber pour with a tan head.ild toffee/Caramel aroma, a darker color than I expected from a summer beer. Figs, fruit, malty sweet, toffee & caramel but very well balanced. Not too sweet at all, a top quality session beer. After warming up a bit, I get a cream soda sweetness from this. Odd but good...
