Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: copper to amber color with some clarity, one finger white foamy head which dissipated at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: caramel/toffee malts, sweet cream and some woody spices
Flavor: leans to the sweet side as those woody spices just seem like their purpose is unknown; finishes super sweet
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable, light smoothness and I guess here is where I find out the spices were meant to dry it all out
Overall: not exactly sure what style this beer is supposed to be (maybe some sort of amber ale?) And maybe someone out there likes this but I do not see myself coming back to this.

On tap at In De Buurt, Zwolle. Aroma of vanilla, malt, caramel, herbal notes, a bit creamy. Flavour is medium sweet. Too thin, not good. Nasty herbal vanilla beer, a big disappointment.

Draught@Arendsnest. Ambery copper colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, dried fruits, some toffee, mild lactose with some toasted elements. Flavour is caramel, fudge, some dried fruits, lactose mild biscuity tones with some almost vanillaish tones to it.

Tolles Ding, sehr lecker.

[12oz bottle from Total Wines, Brea, CA.] A bright orange amber pour with a thick cream coloured head; an oddly familiar, but unidentifiable, spicy aroma - perhaps a fabric softener or room freshener; thin and watery with a similar spicy taste, and some vanilla and caramel. One sip was enough - an immediate drain pour for me.

Tap at Grub. Strawberry, ice cream, fruity. Not sure what they're going for here. It's alright though, but maybe a bit too sweet. Seems very different from the deScription above.
