Dissipating beige head left a froth on a bright clear copper coloured body.
Malt & raisin aroma.
Medium to full bodied, sticky cloying & heavy.
Heavy malt, syrup, wine, woody & caramel tastes with bitter citrus finish.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear light amber with small off-white head. Slightly dulled malty aroma but notes of banana, caramel and light hops. Taste of caramel, fruit cake, banana, orange zest, a building sweetness but has a good bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied but slick, average carbonation. Lacks some depth for the style and strength but I rather liked the simplicity. What there is was tasty and it went down well.

Weicher, süß herb-malziger Beginn. Die Süße bleibt eher mild, erst dezente, dann schnell stärker werdende Bitterkeit. Süffig, überraschend hopfig, weicher und langer Abgang. Gefällt. 8/10/11/10/7/11

20/2/2021. Bottle shared at the third Ipswich Lockdown 3.0 virtual bottle share. Suffolk vs Norfolk. From Real Ale Shop, Wells. Pours dark orange amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of toffee, golden syrup, orange cookie. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, surprisingly watery, soft carbonation. Expected more from a 7% beer.

Bottle picked up from the brewery tap/shop a couple of weeks ago and consumed at home Thursday 27th December 2018 whilst making homemade pizza. Pours warm gold with a slim white head. A little syrupy mouthfeel, some bitterness, malty with some cooked banana. Soft mouthfeel, fruity. Good beer. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
