Spotty beige head on a clear copper coloured body.
Malt, toffee & butter aroma.
Medium to thin bodied, lightly carbonated with a dry back.
Malt, caramel, light hop, berry & tea tastes with an extremely bitter finish.
Brewed in the "1970's" style! 😁

500ml bottle from Morrisons, online. Pours a clear amber, small off-white head, some retention and lacing. Aroma of bready malts, caramel, raisin. Its fine, if a little standard. Taste starts malty with notes picked up from the aroma, and there is a long modest hoppy bitter tang in the finish. However the middle is very thin and watery. Light bodied, moderate carbonation, light oiliness. Very average.

Bottle at home, thanks to Michael, 23/04/23. Copper pour with a good sized lasting white cap. Nose is stewed fruits, biscuit, grains, hedgerow, earthy. Taste comprises earthy fruits, brown bread, herb, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable affair.

Bottle from Waitrose. Pours a clear deep copper colour with a medium sized creamy off-white head. Aromas of clear bottle skunk, toffee, caramel, toasty bread and a bit peppery. Taste has more caramel, toasty bread, a touch more peppery spice and also a hint of nuts. Thin to medium body and fairly smooth mouthfeel. Not bad really.

Bärnstensfärgad klar vätska med en lätt skumkrona. Lätta aromer av fruktkaka och kandisocker. Lite karamellig i smaken. Låg sötma matchas med en lätt blommig humlebeska.

Bottle from Systemabolget. Aroma is pretty empty. Lovely English bitter colour. Taste is pretty classic with some nice hoppage and a little macro. Good bitterness to finish. A much anticipated and welcome taste of home.
